The Design Of On-line Work Assessment System Based On E-Portfolio

On-line work system plays a very important role in promoting student's academic development in web-based teaching. Many on-line work systems are founded many problems such as lacking of a proper feedback. E-Portfolio assessment is shared by a variety of ideological and evaluation to promote a process-oriented way of evaluation, the use of e-Portfolio assessment can be improved to a great extent in the existing online work assessment systems. Therefore, it has an important theoretical significance and value to study the method of design of on-line work system based on e-Portfolio. Papers studied on-line work system based on e-Portfolio to give a systematic design methodology, and provide a reference model for on-line work system.Case analysis method, document analysis method, system scientific method, instructional design method and object-oriented software design method are used in the research. The mainly work of the study are as follows.(1) Analysis study on typical cases of on-line work assessment system. The collected on-line work assessment systems are studied to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and these cases provide mach reference for the paper's study.(2) Theoretical research on on-line work system and e-Portfolio. The theory of work assessment is studied deeply, and the system design framework is planned.(3) Instructional design of on-line work assessment system based on e-Portfolio. Under the guidance of principles of instructional design systems, instructional design model is build.(4) Software design of on-line work assessment system based on e-Portfolio. System architecture and functional modules are designed on the perspective of software engineering.(5) The development of example system. An information technology courses on-line work assessment system based on e-Portfolio is developed under the guidance of the system design model.Some research achievements are made in the follow respects throng theory, design and practice.(1) E-Portfolio is introduced to on-line work assessment system. By analysis of on-line work assessment system typical case and application of e-Portfolio inspected, we believe that the introduction of e-Portfolio to on-line assessment system is of great significance.(2) A system framework model based on the organic combination of instructional design and software design.(3) An instructional design model of on-line work assessment system based on e-Portfolio.The instructional design process is divided into five major steps, design objectives, design rules, chose evaluation methods, and analysis the information collected.(4) A software design model of on-line work assessment system based on e-Portfolio.Three-tier architecture is used in system design, and it is divided into three subsystems: teacher subsystem, student subsystem and administrator subsystem.(5) A case system is developed. The effectiveness of the model validation is proved through the design and development of the case system.Innovations in the thesis are as follows:(1) A more effective design method and model of on-line work assessment system based on e-Portfolio is developed, and it provides a method for reference on designing of other on-line work system.(2) Instructional design and software design are organically integrate in the system design, and it overcomes the limitation of neglecting instructional design to a certain extent.Further organic combination of Quantitative evaluation and qualitative evaluation should be developed in the future study.
