| The new curriculum reformation advocates the assessment theory—Based on the Process and Promoting the Development. With the implementation of the new curriculum reformation, more and more curriculum-reformed pioneers prefer Portfolio Assessment. Many teachers begin to use ePortfolio as the supporting tool of process assessment. However, with the operation of ePortfolio, some problems appear which are mainly divided into three parts: 1 It takes lots of time for teachers and students to make ePortfolios and do the assessment due to lack of knowledge of Portfolio Assessment and lack of a simple ePortfolios system, and the credibility and efficiency of the assessment is low; 2 The teachers only notice the assessment and reflection function of ePortfolio rather than consider ePortfolio as a good way to manage personal knowledge; 3 There is no portfolio standard, so it is difficult to transfer the portfolios. Taking these factors into consideration, the author assumes to build a Versatile ePortfolios System which is based on one school, makes a record of study, supports every assessment, communication, reflection and presentation, and aims to improve the ability of personal knowledge management and promote life-long development.This thesis is divided into 7 chapters: Chapter 1 is the introduction which explains research background, purpose, content, meaning, value and method. Chapter 2 discusses the related concepts of E-Portfolio and analyzes ePortfolio researches at home and abroad and their implementation. Chapter 3 makes a survey on ePortfolio use in Chongqing to know further the application of ePortfolio, application condition and the attitude and demand of the teacher. Chapter 4 explains design idea, supporting theory and the basic rules of design and development of Versatile ePortfolios System on a basis of literature summary and survey analysis. Refer to IMS ePortfolio Specification, Chapter 5 frames and develops the functions of the system. Chapter 6 discusses the application condition and application level of Versatile ePortfolios System and brings forward an ePortfolio assessment guide which teachers can make a reference. Chapter 7 summarizes the research and gives the next research target. |
