Modern mechanic equipment is becoming more and more complicated, automated and intelligent, so the importance of rapid diagnosis and maintenance technologies is obvious which ensure the security and reliability of the manufacturing system. With the development of the network technology of the computer and communication technology, especially the development of Internet technology, opening of the information superhighway, have promoted it to develop from a single and centralized function, concentrate zone to a colligate and distributed function, distributed zone. In fact, remote diagnosis system is a distributed monitoring and centralized diagnosis system connected by computer network or special communication equipment, which can concentrate the data of equipment monitoring of multi-enterprise or division (workshop) to remote diagnosis center and manage, control, diagnose.As to the current situation of our country's technology of state monitoring and fault diagnosis of equipment, this thesis has adopts SIMEMS -PLC as major control system, designs a tension control system, the dissertation specially studies communication mechanism of PLC and designs a monitor and manager program for the communication between PLC and upper PC by using of PPI protocol,and implement remote communication based TCP/IP protocol, as a result, the control system has the ability of remote monitor and manager. The main content of this thesis includes:1. The design of the remote and diagnosis in the tension control system;2. The implement of the communication between PLC and PC, and the remote communication.3. Implement the people-machine communication between field and remote diagnosis center based LabVIEW.The remote condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system implement the monitoring and diagnosis in different area, which means the system can inspect intime both the current condition and the history information of machine. Moreover, expert-diagnosis and consultation can be held by network, which can greatly enhanced the accuracy and shooting percentage. So it has good application prospects.
