Fieldbus is a sort of network for intelligent device of work field developed in 1980s~1990s. It has been widely used in the fields of process automation, manufacture automation as well as building automation. It is the production of synthesis and integration of computer technology, communication technology and control technology. It is an open and distributed new pattern and a focus of automatization.CAN bus is a kind of fieldbus and a serial communication network which supportsdistributed and real-time control effectively.With the rapid development of science and technology, the electro mechanics of the fabrics machine has integrated and entered brand-new stage too. For meeting the needs of higher and higher weaving, development and application of electronic dobby have already become the important respect of technical development to weave.Based on the CAN bus, this paper make relevant research about the realization of monitoring and control network system of the electronic dobby. Many relatively advanced techniques, which are involved to computer, control, communication, network, and circuit design techniques are used in this system. The system possesses good capabilities of control and monitoring. The main works of this paper are as follows:This paper introduces relevant concepts, the state of development and development trend of fieldbus at first. Based on investigating and analyzing in question appearing while to that the present electronic dobby device of textile industry uses, have put forward and set up the imagination of monitoring and control network system of electronic dobby based on CAN bus.On the basis of analyzing in depth to CAN bus performance characteristic, technical specification and application situation, the software and hardware of the whole system and the systematic function have been designed overall.While introducing the design method of CAN communication interface, the independent CAN controller SJA1000 was selected to realize CAN communication protocol, and realize the physics interface of CAN bus with PCA82C250 CAN transceiver. Then Combining the application of the electronic dobby in reality, this paper carries on the design of electronic dobby device based on CAN communication interface, completes the design of hardware circuit and the manufacture of PCB board.According to the design philosophy of Enterprise's management control combining, this paper carries on relevant discussions to Monitoring and Control Network System of The Electronic Dobby on the basis of B&R programmable computer controller (PCC) and network of controlling. To the: practical application of this system, this paper discusses the CAN communication principle, application protocol, controlling procedure and system dependability design especially.On this basis, the paper introduces the design of monitoring and control software based on software secondary development of configuration software, and testes some functions on the test platforms put up under existing experimental condition, especially designs the CANBUS layer's data communication of electronic dobby system. System testing indicates that every parts designed operate normally and can realize that function booked partly.Finally, the summary of the work in this paper and the prospect of correlative theory and techniques are given.
