This author probes into the theoretical system of publishing communication on the basis ofinvestigating researches at home and abroad about this theme, combining with the practicalexperiences of publishing, making use of research methodology include materialistic dialectic,abstract thought, historical analytical, theory transplantation and so on in this thesis. The science of publishing communication is the science knowledge which reveals the rule ofpublishing communication though studying on the phenomena of publishing communication,which use the correlative theories of communication for reference, summarize the practicalexperiences of publishing communication, and synthetically analysis and organically summarizethe research achievements about publishing communication. It is a new social science which hascharacteristics of intersectant, marginal, applied, integrative, developmental, adhering, etc., whichhave correlative sciences include the publishing science, communication, information science, etc..Studying on this subject redound to science construct of publishing and communication, toimprove publishing management and to solve practical problems about publishing. From the individual and whole angle of view, this thesis analysis basic factors and course ofpublishing communication, discuss the relation between publishing communication developmentand social development, and put forward a elementary theoretical configuration of publishingcommunication adhere to principles include logistic and historical unification, macroscopical andmicrocosmic unification, cognitive and practical unification. Publishing communication is the logistic core of the science of publishing communication,which is a social communication phenomenon that people create and edit works and public toaudience in virtue of reproduction.
