Workflow Modeling Technology Based On Opensource Software JaWE

As a key technology of process modeling and process management, workflow technology can be combined with other business management systems, such as Office Automation, E-Government System, Project Management, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Resources Planning, and so on, to improve the efficiency and transparency of government work and to realize business process reengineering of enterprises.In the various workflow management systems currently, the paper select workflow in the principle of WfMC(Workflow Management Coalition) standard. We choose JaWE (Java Workflow Editor) among the opensource workflow modeling software to carry on detailed workflow modeling and analysis. So this modeling method has certain perspective and repeatable exploration. This paper about JaWE (Java Workflow Editor) modeling technology has emphasized the basic of modeling method which based on Petri network, and the JaWE should analyses actual business process through workflow patterns. JaWE can define and revise workflow process attribute consult WfMC Meta-Model. So the modeling technology of JaWE has very good commutability to define workflow model and can be re-utilized in such workflow modeling technology based on modeling of the figure. And this workflow modeling technology in the future will exert a certain influence.
