| Considering the demands of the manufacturing cell system function and main methods of remote fault diagnosis system used currently, the manufacturing cell remote monitor and diagnosis system is researched in this thesis on system structure, key technology on real monitoring and communication technology of remote monitoring. The prototype of monitoring system and remote expert system have been realized. On the basis of system requirement and project function, a system is divided into two parts to analysis, i.e. remote monitoring system and remote expert system. The structure and development realization platforms for each system are put forward.This thesis is focused on how to realise the remote monitoring on equipment running, compared on the main communication system capability of OMRON PLC, used host link, researched on serial communication technology, principle of host link communication and communication protocol, researched on design and realization on host link monitoring programme.This thesis is introduced methods on remote communication: modem dial based on PSTN, Winsock control programme based on TCP/IP protocol. Researched on principle of modem dial and TCP/IP protocol and analyzed diagram design and realized between host link and expert system.In addition, a expert system module is developed based on B/S structure by the application of fuzzy inference model. An enterprises remote servicing system is integrated with other functional sub module. On the basis of above-mentioned research and achievements, the remote expert system is realized based on VB.NET and computer remote monitoring based on VB 6.0. The software have been verified in the application instance.
