Design & Analysis On Tomato Disease Remote Diagnostics Expert System

The project "Design & Analysis on Tomato Disease Remote Diagnostics Expert System" is a sub-project of the 863 program" Plant Diseases and Insect Pests" This project is based on the frequently happened tomato disease, and follows the latest trend and need. Based on TCP/IP and Expert System, a representative and feasible platform system with B/S architecture is established ,which can compare the phenomena with the data in database, remote diagnose the tomato disease and extend the disease knowledge base for realizing the diagnosing the disease of the tomato ,even of others. The system also provide disease information to other 2 diagnose system(remote diagnosing system for plant disease and insect pests and expert remote consultation system, subsystems of the major project ).It also affords the basic platform for remote diagnosing the plant disease and insect pests in the future. Based on the remote disease diagnosis expert system for tomatoes, this paper makes requirement-analysis, structure-analysis, and design-analysis to the system, conformed with the requirement of the software engineering. It puts forward to the inference theory and kernel arithmetic of the tomato disease characters remote diagnosing system with the technology of the pattern recognizing for computer image applied to judgment for the relation of the dataset, also providing an example. The paper expatiate how to create and extend the networks disease database by collecting the characters of the tomato diseases, and the general application of the system for other plants.The remote disease diagnosis expert system for tomatoes adopts B/S infrastructure MIS, MySQL as the database server ,Apache as the web server ,and use PHP, JavaScript, Html web developing language for programming. Implementing the remote diagnosis of tomatoes in Win2000, Linux, WinCE.
