Research On The Management And Control Integrative System For Water Supply Enterprises

Based on a thorough research on the technological processes and process requirements of water plants, a constant pressure water supply SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system through Variable Frequency Speed Regulation is designed. In accordance with the features of water supply enterprises, a method has been proposed based on PC configuration combined with PLC modularized programming, and wired communication combined with wireless communication. A set of computer control software is developed, achieving pressure close loop control with flow compensation. The running results show that the control system is stable, flexible handling, remarkable energy-saving and high quality water supply. The main factor that influences the benefit of water supply enterprises is the water quality, and the security and stability of water supply system. The running control of water supply system is a dynamic programming problem with multiple objectives and complicated restrictions. The control target is to meet the demand of service supply and system restrictions at the lowest total cost. The traditional control method can only obtain pressure close loop control within small areas. The optimal dispatch of water supply is almost impossible. Based on the advanced management theory of ERP, a comprehensive management system with pipe network management and water amount & rate management is established. Under this management system, engineers and managers can accurately grasp the running situation of the water supply system, and managers can truly plan as a whole on production and management, the management and control integrative system has been obtained.
