At present, China is facing a shortage of water resources. Water usage is facing with contradiction. On one side, water transferred to solve the shortage of water resources need to invest hundreds billion RMB, inefficient use of water such as leaking and other waste is very serious on the other side. Water network leakage is the main reason for inefficient use of water resources. Water network leakage control has been the top subject of worldwide concern. Theory and research have shown that Pressure Management is a very economical and effective method of reducing losses.The way for reducing pipeline leakage, preventing burst pipes, controlling leakage rebound, slowing leak detection cycle, maintaining leak achievement has played a positive role.Pressure monitor and control is the core of Pressure Management. Combined with the epidemic concept such as IOT, Industry 4.0 nowadays, Water pressure management become part of IOT will be imperative under such situation. Therefore,this paper analyzes and designs a remote intelligent valve pressure monitoring and control system for water supply pipe, including wireless intelligent slave terminal controller and host web pressure monitoring and control system. The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:(1) Design of a new scheme to reduce the overall pipe network leakage by pressure control. According to currently available pressure control valve system, this paper analysed and researched of a new control way, developed an intelligent controller terminal driven by a hydraulic valve to control the water pressure.(2) Analysis and design of the intelligent terminal controller. The controller microprocessor selected low-power MSP430 MCU of TI, combines with pressure flow sensor technology, electrical fluid technology, embedded technology, wireless communication technologies of GSM/GPRS module to achieve the expected requirements of low-power, time closed-loop control, timing pressure monitor, LCD menu display and button settings and other tasks.(3) Host web pressure monitoring and control system is based on the reception of B/S to build a browser for the monitor, the background based on C/S mode to build a Socket Communications, and backend using the MVC Java technology and SQLServer database structures. Due to the complexity of the whole control system functional requirements, reliability of communication protocol design for wirelessterminal controller between host server must be analyzed and validated. The software need to set up with third-party software communication protocols at the application level, so the third-party software can also monitor and control the controller when permission allowed.(4) Pipe pressure is the core of control object for the present system. This paper designed and developed of a special control system driven algorithm. The controller trim actuator can stabilize the pressure when small fluctuation of water pressure caused by external factors; Meanwhile, the pressure can adjusted to the target required value by the manner of rough and fine adjustment. The slave terminal controller selects μC/OS-II embedded real-time operating system to ensure real-time and rapid response to control valve site conditions of water pressure, quickly response the tasks of uploading parameters data to management system, executive control settings and so on. |
