The supervisory control technology is an automation system for processing control and dispatching which is based on computer. It is widely used in water supply and drainage field and has obtained a quite good economic and social benefit. Daqing Oilfield Water Supply Company is charge of supplying water for industry and domestic in the all Daqing area. The ground water resources are becoming increasingly lack and the cost is more expensive now. It has become an important issue for the water management how to develop and use the ground water to meet the need in industrial and domestic water. The characteristics of the company are: the geographic position of the water source wells are decentralize, the stabilization is needed for the collection and control function to ensure the safety. In order to manage the water wells in different areas, a multiple automatic system with advanced enterprise character and modernization must be established to meet the dispatching in production.The main problem is there is no a domestic supervisory control system software for the water supply and drainage at present. The buying price for the current configuration software is more expensive. The hardware used is commercialized product in our company. Although the supervisory control system software is the soul at the entire control system, the dispatching software used was developed by ourselves. The software takes on the terminal communication. It collects all kinds of data such as pressure, voltage, current and quantity, after calculation it provides information for the operators by reasonable ways, the operators can run and stop the pump according to the system software. The supervisory control system software has many function, its performance will affect the whole system directly. It is important for the enterprise developing to master the key technology.The technical scheme, design and important detail are introduced in the paper according to the automatic need for the Daqing Oilfield Water Supply Company. It provides a scientific measure for the dispatchers to organize the production and supply high-quality water by setting up the system. The deep-well pump which is far from the water source dispatching room (more than 10 kilometers) can be started and stopped by the radio station of the system in time, it can monitor many parameters such as current, voltage, running status and so on. The supervisory control system of the deep well in water source is composed of two parts. They are the dispatching control terminal and deep-well performing terminal. The control terminal including a computer, 1700 controller, direct current stabilized source and M338 radio station is installed in the dispatching control room in the water source. The performing terminal is installed in the pump room, it made up of M338 radio station, 1708RTU, direct-current stabilized source, V/I transfer, relay and so on. 1700 is a central control unit, M338 is a radio station which is compatible with multiple telephones. 1708 is a performing terminal in deep well. The computer is an industrial control computer. The system software is WINDOWS XP, the control software is edited by Visual Basic 6.0. The system works in visual windows, it is easy to use for the operators. The deep-well monitoring window, deep-well data window, data curve window, technical parameter window and report form printing window are changeable. The construction of the system is compact and the maintenance is convenient. The hardware equipments are made in abroad, the system has a good stability and reliability by using them.The aspects are introduced as follow:1. According to the production status in water supply system, the necessary and advantage were put forward to set up the supervisory control system.2. Providing the operating scheme, the process to set up the scheme, the construction and performance principle of the system.3. Analyzing the function requirements for the system and setting up the model.4. Introducing the main design guidance and many details. They are the application of increment original way, data flow analysis, database table design, visual design and communication interfaces realization.The graduate design will achieve follow functions:1. The system can collect the operating data in deep well in water source on setting time in automatic or hand way , (including the motor running current, three-phase alternating current voltage, the start and stop parameters.2. The operator can use computer to remote the deep-well pump in water source to start or stop at any time.3. The dispatcher can work easier and scientifically, because the change from the outside parameters such as pressure and flow are displayed in curve (including current and historical curves).4. The running report in the deep well in water source can be printed automatically or manually.5. The deep well plan is shown, the running status of each well can be shown dynamically.6. The running current and historical data of the deep-well pump in water source can be shown.7. The operator can use computer to consult the technical information of each single deep well.8. The user can increase new and delete the discarded wells according to the deep well change in the water source.9. The system has an alarming function for prevention of steal, it can monitor all kinds of signal from deep-well pump room by computer program. When a stranger come in, the infrared detection unit will give a signal to the person on duty with the digital transmission of the radio station by No.3 I/O of RTU.10. The computer will give the operator a"No Answer"sound alarming signal, if the performing terminal in deep well is power off.The supervisory control system for water supply will provide a reliable technical support for the water source optimizing running, raising the running efficiency and economic benefit.
