| With the quickly development of communication technology, many kinds of wireless communication methods are already widely used in people' s life. Because of its convenience and high reliability, SMS(Short Message Service) based on GSM(Global system for Mobile communications) become more and more popular. Making use of GSM short message service platform, developing wireless information transfer system is not only available in technology, but also can improve work efficiency greatly. So the research of wireless information interactive system based on GSM network has both practical economy significance and society benefit.This paper researched the basic working theory, network configuration and network supporting operation of GSM; deep analyzed the principle, technique predominance .network theory .system configuration and the application of Short Message Service system; detailedly introduced how to use MS Access database and Visual Basic programming environment to develop the College Recruiting Wireless Interactive System. The whole paper expatiated the principle and application of wireless information interactive platform based on GSM roundly. The idiographic content:Making good use of information and mobile technology is always the emphasis of college recruiting. The traditional process is too complex, so develop some supplementary method is necessary. College Recruiting Wireless Interactive System which combine INTERNET and GSM network through GSM Modem and network database technology is based on GSM/SMS platform, use MS Access database and Visual Basic programming environment, can make recruiting manage officers and college' s staff get connection with each other easily by cellphone' s short message. In this process, college' s code, information of recruiting staff, cellphone number, GSM sending/receiving commands and many other information would be input in database first. Because of using GSM/INTERNET double backup, the system can run availably even INTERNET get into trouble.
