In recent years,as the number of the candidates who take the college entrance examination is reducing yearly and the enrollment scale of undergraduate colleges is expanding gradually,The enrollment of higher vocational qualifications in higher vocational colleges has been affected,which is getting more and more difficult.What' worse,some higher vocational colleges have even experienced the inability to complete enrollment planning tasks.The competition between colleges and colleges has become increasingly fierce.In the next few years,under the circumstances that both the number and the quality of high enrollment students will be declined,it is the new subject that vocational colleges will confront,which is about how higher vocational colleges will improve their enrollment strategies,make reasonable arrangements for professional settings and make accurate enrollment promotion so as to increase the enrollment rate.In view of this,this paper puts forward to build a welcome enrollment data platform based on data mining.Through this platform,the school enrollment admission data and the freshmen registration data are organically combined to achieve unified management,which can be used as the data mining object for data mining and figure out the objective factors that affect the candidate's application for registration and freshmen' s registration,so as to enhance the competitiveness of the schools.The data platform adopts browser/server(B/S)mode,using ASP.NET as server-side technology solution,C# as code writing language,SQL Server as database system,and Visual Studio 2010 as development tools to complete the development and implementation of the data platform.Before the development of the platform begins,the author has conducted a thorough investigation of the enrollment admission process and the welcome registration process of the school,and also conducted a comprehensive review of these processes,which is generated a platform demand analysis report.Meanwhile,according to the report,the function module design of the platform and the design of the database table are both completed.The functional modules of the data platform include data management,digital orientation,decision analysis and platform management.And the digital orientation and decision analysis are two core functions of the platform.In the digital orientation,those functions including online registration,student number generation,automatic payment check,and automatic assignment of dormitories provide convenient services for the school's freshman orientation.In the decision analysis module,the Apriori algorithm in the association rules is used to perform data mining modeling for the test scores,admissions specialty and registration in the platform database,establish a mining model that predicts the prospects of the school profession,and make an analysis according to the data mining results,which can provide scientific basis for the future professional setting and enrollment planning of the school.The C4.5 algorithm in the decision tree method is used to conduct data mining modeling for candidates' categories,test subjects,original places and registration in the platform database,establish a mining model that can study the structure of student source,and make an analysis according to the data mining results,which can provide data support for accurate publicity of school enrollment.As a part of the university's information construction achievement,this data platform not only provides convenient and efficient services for the school's freshman orientation,but also establishes a data mining model for new students by using association rule and decision tree method and analyzes the potential factors for freshmen' s registration,which provides decision support for the school's recruitment.
