Research Of UML And COM And Realization Of Courseware Switch Tools Project

What this dissertation researched is a part of courseware making and switch tools project, supported by the Science-Technology Project of the National 'Tenth Five-Year-Plan' of China.The Unified Modeling Language(UML),which is designed by Rational Software Corporation,provides system architects working on object analysis and design with one convenient language for specifying,visualizing,constructing and documenting the architects of software systems .UML is the convergence of best practices in the oriented-technology industry.And it is a rich,precise,extensible modeling language for object-oriented system development and software developing automation envinronment.UML is the representation of excellent software engineering methodology which is approbated in large-scale and complex modeling field. UML unifys the basic conception,technical terms and graphics symbol of object-oriented industry,it provides a convenient languange easy to commucation for us.COM(Component Object Model)intergrates two characters:Object technique and Component technique.It refers to a software framework, based on binary system, regardless of the operating system and programming languages ,which is produced by Microsoft Co. Characteristics of language independent,process transparent,software reused and more secure are fundamental of it.The aim of COM's programming is to divide the application into dependent models,even different OS.It integrate function-software into application by plug-and-plug mode,which makes the software easy to design,upgrade, maintain and reduce the cost.With the development of education and multimedia,couseware is becoming more and more important in teaching.there are more and more courseware making tools,but the conventional courseware making tools are lake of systemic and academic analyses and donot conform to one standard,so they have many limitations in expansibility and opening.For example,courseware cannot integrate with resource system easily .The courseware making and switch tools project, supported by the Science-Technology Project of the National 'Tenth Five-Year-Plan' of China,is a core software in netware education system.The target of the project is developing studying-easily and using-easily courseware making tools,with it teachers can make coursewares and courses which show all kinds of teaching ways and teaching patterns,students can study individually.The courseware switch tools project is a part of courseware making and switch tools project.Converting web,ppt and video coursewares which cannot conform to one standard to normal coursewares and enhancing the share and reuse of coursewares are the target of the courseware switch tools project.At last we developed courseware making and switch tools project, supported by the Science-Technology Project of the National 'Tenth Five-Year-Plan' of China,based on UML and COM.
