With the general applicant of computer technology and modern communication technology that applied in modern education technology, CAI is often used in teaching, especially in physical teaching. It is effective in using CAI courseware in physical teaching to inspire students' interest and improve teaching. Nevertheless, there are some factors that count. Not all teaching is suitable in using CAI, not all CAI can be used in teaching. Some CAI can affect teaching effect, they are some poor making or not fit for teaching rule or even some knowledge mistake.Therefore, it's meaningful in designing and making physical CAI courseware for improving teaching by summarizing the general principle in physics CAI courseware making that is from conclusion and comparison in analyzing the character of physical CAI courseware for application rules by practical physical teaching.Some basic principles that followed in CAI courseware making of high school are studied in the paper, they are:1. It's analyzed of characteristics of physical teaching and students' cognizance.2. It is come up classification methods from studying the various classification methods of CAI courseware and teaching characteristic of physics.3. It's formed the making principle of physical CAI courseware of high school by combination of the result of teaching experiment study and cognizance characteristics and teaching practice experiment of students.4. It's studied in data which are from teaching comparison experiment in different types of CAI courseware.The paper emphasizes particularly on:1. It brings forward the new classification methods to physical CAI courseware in high school those are divided into three types according to physical knowledge constructing manner. They are experiment exploring type, theory reasoning type and experiment deducing type. The classification can unify the different type of teaching content and CAI courseware, and then checking the teaching effect of CAI courseware from constructing physical knowledge, thus it makes it's evidential in evaluating teaching effect of CAI courseware.
