Design And Realization Of The Web Courseware Based On VR

With the rapid development of modern information and communication technologies, many new technologies have been applied to the field of education, modern education is moving toward multimediation, Internetization and infomationization. Especially the network education based on internet develop rapidly depending on its many advantages and characteristics. As a most important form of network education expression, the development of the quality and level of Web courseware will directly represent the development of the network, it is the key to success.The development of virtual reality has brought new ways to the development of Web courseware. With virtual reality, you can create a virtual learning environment like real society, in this learning environment, knowledge appear in the way of visualization in which learners can learn independently in a natural way and interactive with the content . It can improve the learner' s interest in learning greatly, so it will be more conducive to the effect Construction of learner' s knowledge. At the same time, based on the development of VRML and other virtual reality technologies, Web courseware occupy little capacity, so it can transmit on Internet easily. It represent the development trend of future Web courseware.However, the virtual reality itself is immature and complex, it requires high performance of the hardware and the price is still relatively expensive. In our current condition, Web Courseware that is based on the development and application of virtual reality is still relatively deficient, especially in those relatively poor primary and secondary schools. How to develop and apply Web courseware under existing technologies and conditions is the focus of the study.In this paper, we discussed the theory aspect of how the virtual reality is used in the development of Web courseware, including the overview of virtual reality, the significance and theoretical foundation of its application to network education, the specific applications in education and the components and related technical basis of Web courseware that is based on Virtual Reality. Secondly, from the perspective of the practice development, we designed and made a courseware based on high school' s geographical text "Earth in the universe", we wish to explore the development of Web courseware that is based on virtual reality and promote virtual reality application in China' s primary and secondary schools, thereby speeding up the development of education.
