The Usage Of Software Configuration Management For OSE Collaborative Platform

First, this article is based on the situation and issue that our Software export industry has met in nowadays, and shows the model of OSE which is set up by the company -- ExperExchange Inc. Then it will introduce and discuss the background and reason why we need Software collaborative platform (SCP). After that, I will brief explain the status and technology trend today of this research issue and main idea of the theory of Configuration Management. At last, it will give a conclusion of all work I have done in the real projects.In more than one year time for developing the projects, I have found out, the special requirements of projects are the first consideration to our developing team and then we do a lot of research and analyses for the details we collected from Internet and environment of OSE and resources of our company collected before. Base on these work we have done, then we take a long time test in various hardware and software environments for some solutions we known before, for example of platform of Microsoft Sharepoint, in order to know their advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, for these efforts we made, we write the special requirements of this platform and base on these requirements we design the model of platform and some particular details about design. In final, we finish a part of main basic functions of platform and make a prototype of this platform.
