Design And Implementation Of Sharepoint File Uploading System

As the development of the information technology, there is an increasing requirement for building and maintenace of enterprise portal site. SharePoint is a software which can build intelligent portal site conveniently. It can connect to the Users, Teams and Knowledges seamlessly. At the same time, it has realized the Individual, Teams and information’s integration, organization and search, make employees work more efficiently.In order to share and manage documents, companies built protal sites with SharePoint often have the reqiuement that uploading a huge number of files on physical device to the SharePoint sites. And these files may occupied lots of database space which makes companies have to purchase more and more. To solve these issues, the design and implement of document uploading system which uploading files on special physical device to the specified SharePoint location with the same folder structure, and only uploading a document link to SharePoint can be selected to save the database space is described in this paper.Many SharePoint versions is supported by this system. For the popular SharePoint On-premise version, the system design solutions which are specific. And for the SharePoint online, a host web site was build on Window Azure server as the intermediary layer to comunicate with physical device. In addition, the system also solve the conflict issues, such as there are files with the same name both on SharePoint and physical device.
