Research And Development Of Content Management Based On Documentum And SharePoint

It is an important way to realize the paperless office and can improve the work efficiency using content management system for enterprise information management. How to integrate resources and data for content management is an important business issue placed in front of enterprise.This paper designs and implements a content management system according to the functional requirements of the system based on the analysis of Documentum and SharePoint. First to design the system framework thoughout Model-View-Presenter pattern based on layered structure which can realize the separation of business logic and user interface. Then to design and implement system login logout module,virtual document management module and version management module. In system login logout module, single sign-on function is implemented to improve working efficiency and system safety. In virtual document management module, a kind of document management strategy is designed to ensure result's correctness when many users manipulating the document simultaneously. In version management module, the process of version history is analysised. Finally we deploy the content management system in a real environment. Experimental results show that the feasibility and effectiveness of content management system meets the design requirements.
