Research On The Information Integrated Of PDM And ERP System

Product Data Management (PDM) and Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) are the two major technological support to the manufacturing enterprises on which the enterprises can strengthen their competitive power. The information integrating between PDM and ERP system is the chock point in CIMS implement, which is one of the most critical problems that the manufacturing enterprises faced to solve. The integration of PDM and ERP system can not only do great benefit to the quick and accurate information transmission, but also accelerate the technological process, promote the harmony between the engineering and the manufacture department and enhance the core competitive power of the whole enterprise. Therefore, the research on how to integrate PDM and ERP system is the critical problem to put CIMS into effect.The current research on PDM and ERP at home and abroad was analyzed first in this paper. It has constructed three models on the integration of PDM and ERP system by making good use of the advanced theories and technology, and the merits and demerits of these three models were analyzed at the same time. Then a structure model of BOM has been constructed. According to the product structure tree and the realistic condition in Z company, the main BOM of PDM and ERP in Z company was also constructed. Finally, taking an appropriate integrating model as an example, the programming interface of PDM and ERP system was developed and it has proved to be successful on the information integrating of PDM and ERP system.This paper has given a basic thinking framework and the methods of resolvement of some critical technology for the integrating of PDM and ERP system. It is advanced and has great application value.
