The Research On Information Integration Between CAPP And ERP Under CIMS Circumstance

The information integration of the design automation system and the management system has been a difficulty in the CIMS realization. As the important part of design automation sub system, management and strategy sub system in CIMS, The information integration between CAPP and ERP would show great practical significance to CIMS implementation, product designing and manufacturing process optimization.After analyzing the information integration among CAPP> PDM and ERP, this paper propose a system framework for the information integration between CAPP and ERP through shared PDM database, the levels of information integration are also presented. Then, broadly Combining with the last research achievements of information integration theory and method and synthetically considering technical advancement and practical needs of domestic medium and small-scale enterprises, advanced and analyzed four plans to solve the integration. After the change of product data model during different stages of design and manufacturing are studied, the paper introduces a new technology using object-oriented, hierarchical model to building product data model. The integration method for CAPP/ERP is proposed on the basis of an unified data model. BOM of process design serves as the linkage in the integration. Lastly a case study is given to exchange and share information between CAPP and ERP by means of EBOM to MBOM.
