The Research On Product Information Integrated Management Upon PDM Under CIMS Circumstance

Nowadays, technology of CAD/CAPP/CAM,PDM and ERP are widely used in the world. At the same time, information integration of these three systems comes to be the key question of CIMS engineering in manufacturing enterprise. The nucleus and essence of CIMS is integration. Product information integration management becomes the main content of CIMS application engineering.This thesis is based on the new CIMS product information integration management research theories, enterprises' present situation and CIMS demonstrate application engineering. CIMS integration program are analysis and compared in theory. Exchange and share of product information in CAD/CAPP/CAM/PDM/ERP systems with its content are also studied in this thesis. Information model and structure frame of CAD/CAPP/CAM/PDM/ERP information integration are established. The method of product information integration management based on PDM is pointed out. A product information integration management system based on PDM is exploited to CIMS application engineering. It can solve the automation isolation question in design, manufacturing and management.
