Research On Dalian Shipyard CIMS And Its Supporting Environment

Enterprise informationization is the foundation of national economic modernization, and is the guarantee for increase enterprise competition ability.Shipbuilding Enterprises can only be successful with proper utilisation of Information Technology through using scientific, systemic and standard philosophies, configuring and optimizing inner- exterior resources, efficiently supporting enterprise decision-making, controlling and functioning.Guided with CIM philosophy, This thesis analyzed computer integrated manufacturing system(CIMS) technology and methodology, analyzed the CIMS characteristics of shipbuilding enterprise. Discuss the construction of the Intranet services platforms and their interconnection, study the method of product data management based on international standards. Concretely saying that the study work includes the following:1 .The construction of Intranet including building of the Virtual local area networks and various services of Dalian Shipyard.2.The applications implementation on Intranet of Dalian Shipyard including running 3D designing software on Intel platform to simulate the program on MINI computer platforms, 3D modeling assembling base on WEB.3.The research of concurrent design and product data management base on WEB structure.Combinative with the project of the National Science and Technology Committee: one of the heavy industry financial technical reconstruction project -110-G-0. Author has taken part in the designing and implementation of the project. The project is now launching into running for the designing and manufacturing of PC450 and PC720 ships.According to conclusion of the project implementation, the result shows that it can successfully shorten product development period to meet customer requirements, reduce cost and enhance enterprise's competition in international market.
