Oil production by gas lift is one of the most modern technology of oil production. Gas presses into oil well, and the crude oil squirts the ground. This technology has been applied widely in many oil fields of America, Russia, China and etc.Gas feed system is one of very important part of oil production by gas gift. It takes charge of the management and supervision of oil's gas feed. And Its performance will determine the gas utilization ratio and the crude oil output. While there are still much question in gas feed system, such as low precision of measurement, bad manangement, simple control method, low gas utilization, and etc. Gas feed automation system being introduced in this paper was put forward just under such application background. The gas feed automation system, which includes field instruments, gas feed controller, wireless remote supervising system, and so on, will realize following functions: gas flow measurement, gas pressure and temperature measurement, gas flow control, gas pressure regulation, intermittent gas lift, wireless remote monitoring, and etc.This paper will discuss the following content in detail:First part is introduction. Technology of oil production by gas lift, position and question of gas feed system will be discussed. The performance and advantage of gas feed automation system will be introduced also.Chapter two is data sample of system. It will discuss the data conversion theory, 24bit E-A data conversion, mux-channel switch sampling technology, and EMC design. Among them, we will introduce the principle and application of ADS 1251, application of Photomos technology in mux-channel switch sampling, and EMC design with hardware and software of gas feed controller, which has good performance in reliability.Chapter three will introduce gas flow compensation of temperature and pressure, and its programming of software.Chapter four will discuss LCD display technology. The principle and application of T6963C, and the design of good man-machine interface of controller will be introduced.Chapter five will discuss data storage technology, and the application of NOR flash storage. 28F640 of Intel corporation will be introduced also.Chapter six will discuss gas feed automation theory. The gas feed regulation of high yield well and low yield well, and intermittent gas lift will be introduced separately.Chapter seven will discuss wireless remote monitoring system. GPRS network will be introduced also.The last chapter will discuss the practical application and the prospect of gas feed automation system.The gas feed automation system intrdoduced in this book has been applied successfully, and has made good economic benefits.
