Image Collecting And Processing System Based On DSP

The technology of image collecting and processing has a very important role in information processing technology. It is involved in industry measurement, medical equipment, military and consuming electronics products areas. In general application, image collecting and processing system is based on computer. But in the situations that require low cost and small volume , there will have more research value and application value for developing image collecting and processing system based on DSP ( Digital Signal Processor) and embeded the system in products that related closely with people's life.In this paper, based on research of video signal, an image collecting and processing system based on DSP chip TMS320F206 was designed, and part of debugging work is finished. The system uses DSP, MCU (Microcontrol Unit) and CPLD (Complex Programable Logic Device) as the core of the system hardware and uses digital video technology. The system can accomplish exchanging video signal input from camera into digital images and data processing. On communicating, using USB interface to complete data communication with PC.This paper pays more attention to hardware design of image collecting and processing system. Integral notion of system design is brought out at the beginning of the text. Secondly , detail technical information of module design is narrated in each chapter. At last part of paper, some problems encountered in system debugging and method on resolving these problems are brought out, and some suggestions for system optimization are also provided.This paper provides some valuable reference for design of image collecting and processing system based on DSP.
