Design Of Degital Effect Processor By DSP Platform

In our life, it is very difficult to achieve prefect sound quality and effect in general room,expect the studioes with the standarding of bulding acoustics or concert halls,so we need use sound processor to deal and beutify the voice.In this thesis, we introduce an elcetronic audio equipment that sound effect will be more prefect by using a digital singal processor to deal audio singal in order to achieve various special effect.This thesis introduces a variety of processing technology based on the same hardware platform. According to the requirements of the client, system schema of digital audio effector is analysed,and performance parameters of the system was proposed by us.TI's DSP platform is chosen for the system. Hardware and software are analysed and designed in the system frame. For the hardware,the thesis makes a detailed discussion, including system based on master CPU using chip ARM LPC2134 and digital signal processor chip TMS320VC6726 as slave, in addict A/D and D/A converter circuits.For the software, the thesis firstly introduces the designs of algorithmic model of the common sound effect and special Sound effect. Taking Blues sound effect for an example, the thesis focuses on the LMS algorithm of IIR adaptive filter. Then, modeling of the digital audio effect processing system is implemented in matlab language based on the theories mentioned above. In the end, the hardware platform of this system is given. After finishing the design of hardware and software, we test main performance index of system on RMAA, it meets the design requirements that there are the test results of frequency response, noise level, dynamic range, THD, intermodulation distortion, stereo crosstalk.With work, the sample devices are manufactured,there are realized on the digital audio effect processing system that sound effects of room,hall, canyon, space, pitch shifting, chorus, flang, blues. And. All the sound effects are certificated by professionals from our cooperative company of Guangzhou Maxsinesound Electronic Technology Company.
