Wang Weixin (1785-1848) was born in Rong Xian county, Guangxi Province. He has so many works concerning so many types of literature with so great artistic achievements that he should have been honored the great master of letters in Guangxi in Manchu Dynasty. Because of his humble position, he had not been given to the due attention. From the existent works of his, we can see its ideology and artistic quality got to a great level. All his works are not only the literary heritage of Guangxi but also part of literary heritage of our country.The author of this thesis tries to fully represent the creative style and features of Wang Weixin through the careful revision of his poetry, Ci and Sanqu from the aspects of historical events, words and tones. Especially the revision of The Poetry of Begonia Bridge ( ) can offer new materials for the compilation of The Poetry of the Whole Manchu Dynasty. This thesis has given a clear, veracious and detailed notation and citation of the historical literary quotations, geographical evolutions, places of great interest, systems of naming things and quotations of the poems of the forerunners.This thesis also gives a systematic account of his life, thought, the contents of his works and creative artistic characteristics with the hope that people will know more about Wang Weixin and promote the spread of the local traditional culture after further study and careful selection.
