A Study On The Editions Of The Collections Of Wang Jian's Poems

Abstract/Summary:
Wang Jian , as a main member of zhe New Yue-fu campaign in mid-Tang Dynasty,was well-known by his poems in Chinese literature. Although a lot of articles haveconcerned with his poems in 1949, there is no one talk about the editions of Wang Jian'spoetry book and his spreading after 13th century. So this paper will study the editions ofWang Jian's poetry and his spreading since Song Dynasty based on co11ation about 20kinds of editions of Wang Jian's poetry. The paper is divided in four parts: foreword,the study of Wang Jian's poetry edition, the introduction of Wang Jian's Gong ci poetryedition, and conclusion. In the first aspect , the author studies editions of Wang Jian's collected edition,treating time as the guiding principle. 1 The collecting and spreading of Wang Jian's poetry. In this part, author discussesthe collecting and spreading situation of Wang Jian's poems . And induced that thetwo-volumes edition which description in Chong Wen catalogue was the first edition . 2 The edition and publication of the Wang Jian's poetry in Song Dynasty. In thispart , author introduces three Song Dynasty b1ock printed editions and one YuanDynasty hand-written text, such as ten-volumes edition ,bookshop edition ,eight-volumes edition, and hand-written text. 3 The publication and transcription of the Wang Jian's poetry in Ming Dynasty .Inthis part, the author studies 12 kind of editions. (1) Ming Dynasty hand-written text. (2)The copy stowed by Lanyu. (3) Liu Chengde edition, (4) Liu Dazhong' hand-writtentext, (5) Jiang Xiao edition, (6) Zhu Zhifan edition, (7) Ji Gu Ge edition ,(8) ZhuYouping hand-written text, (9)Tang Yin Tong Qian edition ,(10) Forty-seven poetry ofTang Dynasty edition ,(11)Feng hand-written text edition A, (12)Feng hand-written textedition B.4 The publication and transcription of the Wang Jian's poetry in Qing Dynasty. Inthis part ,author explores origin of the various edition (1)One-hundreds poetry edition,(2)Hu Jiezhi edition (3)Xi Qiyu edition ,(4) Ji Zhenyi edition ,(5) The collection poems ofTang Dynasty,(6)Si Ku Quan Shu edition ,(7)Qing hand-written text edition,(8)WuCipei hand-written text edition. In the second aspect, the author studies editions of Wang Jian'a Gong Ci poetry.Treating time as the guiding principle too. 1 The edition and publication of the Wang Jian's Gong Ci poetry in Song Dynasty.In this part , writer introduce three editions .(1)Story of poems of Tang Dynastyedition ;(2)Ten thousand poems edition ,(3) bookshop edition. 2 The edition and publication of the Wang Jian's Gong Ci poetry in Ming Dynasty.In this part , author introduces six editions ,such as Four poets' Gong Ci edition ,GuoYunpeng's Four poets' Gong Ci edition, Wu Youyuan edition ,Mao Jin hand-written textA, Green Summer edition. Mao Jin hand-written text B. 3 The edition and publication of the Wang Jian's Gong Ci poetry in Qing Dynasty.In this part , writer introduces four editions :Ni Can edition Five poets' Gong Ci edition,Huai Nan press edition , Qing edition .At last ,introduces Tian Zhongyu edition whichpressed in 1934. Conclusion. In this part, writer summarize all this paper. And emphasis thatWang Jian's poetry exist three systems, it's ten-volumes edition, eight-volumeseditions, and bookshop edition. At last, author refers that Ni Can edition was the Mostinfluential edition .
