Study And Design Of Library Information Service System Based On CSCW

With people's information demand increasing, contents and modes of library information service enlarge endlessly and system becomes more and more complex. To improve system's efficiency as a whole, we must control the collaboration among subsystems of complicated system exactly. Computer Support Cooperative Work(CSCW), for the most part, research the cooperative communication mechanism among subsystems of complicated system and has been applied in many fields widely, such as military affairs, education,medical treatment. There is significance of studying cooperative work in library information service.In this paper we firstly lucubrate the architecture, the mode, the control mechanism and the synchronous mechanism of CSCW as well as analyse principles and modes of multicast of CSCW. Having studied the actual problems of data communication in library information service system and researched the cooperative mechanism of typical CSCW system, we used object-oriented technology and component technology to design and develop a library information service system based on CSCW. This system can enhance the efficiency of library information service.Based on these researches, we discuss characteristics and key technologies in digital library and also analyse practical data communication and cooperative control. In the end, we put forward a simple cooperative work environment mode of digital library and demonstrate the essentiality of doing search on the CSCW of digital library.
