Design And Implementation Of A WorkFlow Model Base On LOTUS DOMINO/NOTES

This paper firstly brings forward some problems in existing OA systems of recent few years and mainly discusses the low software reusability in these systems. To solve this problem , the paper suggests to set up a workflow model. After the analysis of the most important technology in the OA system ---workflow technology, it discusses the implementation of workflow technology in OA system in detail. Then a general Workflow Model is given according to the features of the OA system based on Lotus Domino Which can separate the application logic or process logic from the whole system. Finally, it introduce two application systems designed based on the model to explain the feasibility and advantage of this workflow model.Using the workflow model given here, you can modify the procedure protocol only to change system function without modifying the implement of actual function. The OA systems designed based on this model are more flexible and easy to maintain or modify.In addition, it discusses the security design in OA system.
