In automation control system, the actuator receives signals from controller or the manual operation, transfers them to the servomechanism's output. In that way, actuator adjusts the manipulated variable. The actuator the controller and the control system, cooperate to realize the control of the industry process variables such as the temperature, the pressure, the flow, the displacement and so on. It is one of the important component of the control loop. The quality of the actuator decides the control effect and the product quality of the whole system in a great extent. The fieldbus is combination of process control technology, instrument technology and computer technology. The WorldFIP fieldbus technology is the 7th part of IEC61158. It adopts the mono-protocol, transfers both the realtime data and the random information without mutual disturbance under the schedule access control. So, it is a realtime, predictable and future-facing fieldbus and has been used widely in the world. Because of that, the development of the intelligent electrical actuator based on the WorldFIP fieldbus technology is valuable. In this thesis, the hardware and software of the intelligent electrical actuator based on the WorldFIP fieldbus technology are discussed. The article includes the MCU control card, communication card and driver card with the associated software.
