Fieldbus control system (FCS) is one of the important trends of control system in recent years. WorldFIP is the seventh type of International Standard of Fieldbus IEC61158, which is very adapt to industrial control for its attractive features. At home and abroad, the application research of WorldFIP is mainly focused on network of supervisory level, while the work on FCS is a blank. Therefore, the development of fieldbus control system based on WorldFIP is very meaningful practically and theoretically, which plays a leading role in self-research and self-development on fieldbus localization.This dissertation develops a whole product prototype of WorldFIP Fieldbus distributed control system for first time which has proprietary intellectual property rights. The solutions and creative approaches of critical techniques and difficult problems are emphatically discussed. The main contributions of this dissertation are summarized as follows:(1) Protocol on user and fieldbus acess sublayer (FAS) communication layers is proposed and a whole WorldFIP protocol software is implemented on VxWorks. FAS defines message specification and supplies server interface for upper layer. Function block (FB) and function block application process (FBAP) are designed and expounded. Device system manganment software is established and its solutions are given, including device presence, address assignment, clock synchronization and function block scheduling. WorldFIP Device description techniques based on XML is built and the software module for parsing device description file is briefly designed.(2) The development of intelligent WorldFIP master is accomplished. The design of an intelligent WorldFIP master with FastEthernet interface is proposed, which is based on ARM9 and VxWorks platform. The time sequence matching between the two hardware modules is resolved by VHDL program of CPLD chip. The software frame is presented and its own fiedbus system management software module is also programmed, such as bus arbitrator (BA), device factory and function block communicating center.(3) The development of WorldFIP fieldbus universal instrument platform and four kinds of fieldbus instrument is also accomplished. The design of instrument platform is proposed, which is based on ARM7 and VxWorks. Based on this platform,a train of fieldbus instruments are developed, such as universal input transmitter, FI converter, power parameter meter and differential pressure transmitter. Some creative measurement techniques are applied to instrument development, including isolated universal multi-inputting module, integral period AC synchronous sampling based on FPGA and digital measuring circuit of capacitive cell differential pressure sensor.(4) A configuration software for WorldFIP FCS oriented to function block technology is programmed with Visual C++. The software adopts three-layer C/S architecture. Middleware FipServer is designed with DLL technique, which accesses fieldbus by FAS protocol. Client of this software is a Windows desktop program with structure of single-document/multi-views. The client program is made up of seven modules, among which the project management, FB parameters configuration, control strategy configuration and real-time supervising modules are developed.Based on the above achievements, a WroldFIP FCS is built which is tested and experimented in actual process control system. The whole system fluently passes many tests. The testing results show that this system can work normally and stably with proper performance. This production meets the design requirement and has promising utilization prospect.
