Fieldbus control system is a new generation control system appearing after distributed control system. The appearance of fieldbus control system makes the field instrument face a new change too. Digitalization, intelligent, and networked is the developing direction of field instrument.The actuator receives control signals, changes the control variables, and executes the control tasks finally. The positioner is an important accessory of the actuator. The development of the positioner makes the control of valves more easy and precise, simplifies the design of high performance control loops, and compacts the execution of control loop.This thesis introduces the advantage and the application of WorldFIP fieldbus, analyses WorldFIP protocol in detail, explains the technical characteristics and the main developing tools.This thesis introduces the design of the hardware and the software of the valve positioner based on the WorldFIP fieldbus protocol, explains the components selecting, the circuit designing, programming and debugging.At last, this thesis discusses some problems in the design and gives some advice on the follow-up design and development.Li Guo Wen(Control Theory and Control Engineering) Directed by prof.
