With the development of network scale, there's a leap of the amount of the online information. The online information resource is not only magnanimity, but also unformatted, unstructured, unordered and uneven, and changes dynamically at any moment. There has no centrical management institution, which manages all sorts of information. All of the above brings obstacles to effective use of the online information. Therefore, we can not ensure the accessibility, integrality, accuracy and effectivity of the information. Especially, scientific researcher can hardly find academic information which suits to their need. Thus, difficulties are brought to academic research. So it is very important for us to prove up the rules of the online information. In this paper, we take the webmetrics as theory foundation, utilize some network techniques and improve the research methods and metrical indexes. On this base, we research on the distribution of academic information in the context of network. My research is not only on due information communion channel, but also on half-due and undue information communion channel. I investigate the information distribution from three aspects: academic information distribute in the websites; percent-analysis and citation analysis. All the study indicates that distribution of academic information in the context of network environment accords with the law of scattering. Then I portray the law with mathematic expression, and discuss the cause of the law. In the end, applications of the law are given.
