Detection and processing of transient flame image are involved in thermal power engineering.It is helpful to improve the combustion efficiency of the combustion equipment and reduce the formation of pollutants and has the guiding significance to the improvement of thermal energy and power engineering device structure,by analyzing the transient flame image to obtain the temperature distribution of flame and flame pulsation characteristics and other information to help the research of the transient combustion process.This paper develops a set of transient flame image processing software which can realize the analysis of transient flame image processing.Transient flame image processing system software to deal with the transient flame image obtained by high-speed camera can get the flame temperature distribution and flame pulsation characteristics.In the process of software development,the theory of two-color temperature measurement is used to calculate the flame temperature,and the flame pulsation characteristic is calculated by Fourier transform principle,which providing reliable help for the detection and analysis of transient combustion processes.This paper carried out water emulsified diesel spray burning flame temperature testing experiment,and experiment the water emulsified diesel with different water contents in different environment oxygen content,the environment temperature,environment density,and injection pressure.Result of the experiment showed that,the average temperature distribution range of 30% watering emulsified diesel spray burning flame is about 1540k~2378k;the average temperature distribution range of diesel burning flame is about 1884k~2430k.Flame average temperature will decline generally with the increase of water contents in diesel;the change of environment oxygen content,environment temperature,and environment density will have a great influence on flame temperature during the combustion process;change of injection pressure has less effect on flame temperature during the combustion process.This paper explores the pulsation characteristics of candle flame and ethylene premixed flame by laboratory combustion experiment platform,and the timing image of candle and ethylene premixed flame are obtained by using the transient image processing system.It shows that the candle burning flame pulse frequency is 12 Hz as the flame timing image processing analyze,and ethylene premixed combustion flame pulse frequency distribution range of 10 Hz ~ 12 Hz in the set conditions off the assembly line.
