Research And Design On Component-Based Dynamic Web Database Application System In Internet

The component technology is a rapid-developing technology recently. With the continuous development of the Internet technology and the wide spread of network connection and more higher speed of network, the web database technology in Internet is becoming the hot point of recent database research. The combination of them makes the component-based web database application. It has extremely expanded the range of database system.Chapter one of this thesis gives a brief introduction to the component-based application mode in Internet and points out this mode is the useful method of solving many application problems. Chapter two introduces and compares the web database technology which has got much attention and more applications recently. Chapter three introduces the web database and dynamic web site technology ASP which is based on ActiveX component and script language in Internet and is pushed by Microsoft company of USA. Chapter four introduces an application example which has been developed by the author using ASP technology. This example has been developed according to the actual application require of libraries, It has been actually used in the library of Anhui University and is planning to be using as an union catalog and management system of electronic publications in the libraries. The system can be used commonly by many member libraries. This example reflects the component-based application mode of web database system in Internet .
