| AbstractAs a new type of editorial popular in recent years, the amusement news editorial hasn't gained enough attention from the press yet. The amusement news editorial has the following functions: clearing doubts, distinguishing between right and wrong, and also plays its role in promoting development.It's distinctive in its writing. Pop stars and hot spots in the recreation sector are the main topics; the profound and new viewpoints are presented in jokes and oblique remarks. The arguments are developed through amusements. Its style can be concluded to be simple and straightforward, incisive in wits, humorous with individual. It also has some specialities in forms. Further more, the thesis points out some current problems in amusement news editorial and proposes some countermeasures.
