| Since sports can promote people's all-round development, social harmony and progress, exchanges and cooperation of different nations, countries and areas, sports news which is based on that should try to fully exert its positive function while transferring information. Traditional written report has its unique advantage. Meanwhile mass media owns great influence and news language is often used as the model of a nation's parlance. So it's necessary to study on sports news writing.This paper adopts the methods of analysis and conclusion and text analysis, using the theory of writing to analysis on the process of sports news writing. Meyer Howard Abrams found that the whole process of writing includes four links, which are society, writer, work and reader. This paper makes the subject of news writing'writer'as the core, studying emphatically on the first three links.Society has a certain influence on writers'personality and values and specific historical stage and society have corresponding restrictions on writing behavior. As working staff in media business, sports journalists must abide by the international occupational standard of journalism, Chinese professional morality in journalism which is under the guideline of Marxian journalistic ethics ideology and relevant laws and regulations. Besides, sports journalists should know clearly Chinese national conditions in the primary stage of socialism, stick to scientific development view in the present stage and use sports as a platform to improve international communication.Writing has a high demand on writers'personal quality, including two aspects.The first aspect is ideology, including personality cultivation and style consciousness. Personality is the core of writing subject's internal spiritual construction. Style consciousness means the writer has definite knowledge of the role orientation of himself and readers along with the regulation before writing. The second is knowledge reserve. Only with a background of the fields like basic natural and humanities and social science of sports, sports journalists are able to form original opinions about sports events, which would embody the value of ports news. What's more, journalists need to widely dabble in different fields, in order to avoid common sense errors, assure the media creditability of sports news and improve on perfection of writing.Based on abundant accumulation, after the clam observation, analysis and estimation of news events, the last step is integration, externalization and forming. The writer needs a good language expression ability to do the job. Sports news doesn't only need clear expression, but also aesthetic quality. The write should use the literary form which is perfectly proportionate to the content and actively apply various rhetorical devices.This paper uses text analysis method to interpret the sports news works which won China News Award during 2002 to 2009, respectively from six levels including language, image, structure and theme of the surface layer and philosophy, culture of the deep layer.2001 to 2008 are two important Olympic cycles for China, during which 16 sports related news won China News Award and a piece of work even unprecedented won the Grand Award, which show sports news are keeping on advancing in the society.In the present state sports news won the China News Award own the following features like according with the country's mainstream ideology, moderate and merciful, subject-matter varied, expressing clearly, content and literary form making a perfect match, which are deserved to be learned from. But the official standards shows a from audience needs. In order to create masterworks, sports journalists need to spur with long accumulation. |
