Collation And Annotation Of Luo Chen's Lotus Pond House Poetry Anthology

Guangxi,situated at the beautiful southern border, though developedlate, has a long history and splended culture. During the Jiaqing andDaoguang Periods of the Qing Dynasty Luo Chen, the famous scholar inGuilin, was of great renown for his adeptness in poetry in calligraphy andin painting .However, little research has been done on him. This thesis,with Luo Chen's Lotus Pond House Poetry Anthology as the abject ofstudy collates and annotates the anthology and explores Luo Chen's life,in which, though his poetry calligraphy and painting were praised as"Three superb Accomplishments in Lijiang Region ", he could notachieve his ambitions;and Luo's poems, which described his longing forachievements, thoughts and feelings about mountains and rivers,theological ideas, friendly sentiments and nostalgia, with the artisticcharacteristics of being powerful and unconstrained, picturesque andevocative of meditation.
