The writings in classical Chinese are the China's traditional outstanding culture carrier. The teaching of the junior school's writings in classical Chinese is an important part of the compulsory education stage language teaching for Chinese. It can make the students know the society of the ancient times, and get the thought and moral education. At the same time, it can make the students easier to learn the modern Chinese. This paper reviews the history of the writings in classical style teaching, and investigates and analysis the present teaching of writings in classical Chinese in junior school. Furthermore, the paper introduces and summarizes some superfine Chinese teacher's teaching experience in writings in classical Chinese. And the essay also ponders it in the new curriculum standard, put forward several proposals to the junior school writings in classical Chinese teaching.In the first chapter, I reviewed the writings in classical Chinese teaching's historical evolution. The language teaching history through the feudal period was just the writings in classical Chinese teaching history. Our country's feudal period was very long. Therefore the writings in classical style teaching's influence were so great. The traditional writings in classical style teaching methods were mainly based on reading aloud, reading well, reciting and so on. From late Qing Dynasty to "New Culture Movement" to the present, the writings in classical style educational reform have not been stopped yet. In terms of the reform content, there were the writings in classical style teaching methods reform. From the reform goal, it was to realize the writings in classical style teaching value, and meet the needs of the time and promote human's development.In the second chapter, I sample some written investigations and analyze junior school's present situation of the writings in classical style teaching. Through the investigation, I find that the teaching method is very simple, just based on dictation and explanation with sentence by sentence. Teachers don't pay much attention to cultivating students' good learning habits, nor improving the students' reading ability. So the students' interests in learning writings in classical style gradually diminish. There is a big gap between the junior school's writing in classical style teaching present situation and the teaching suggestions and teaching goals which are proposed by "Language curriculum Standard". Through the analysis to the junior school's writings in classical style teaching present situation, I myself discover that the causes of the situation are various. Some are for the teachers themselves, for example, their teaching opinions and methods are obsolete, some are for the examination-oriented education, for example, the language teaching goals are so ambiguous. And some are for the language teaching materials; such as the selection standards of the writings in classic style are not the same.In the third chapter I introduce several middle schools language special-class teacher's teaching experience of writings in classical style. More than 100 year's language teaching reform has made atremendous progress through absorbing the traditional teaching experience. It's so hard to get such a great progress. Large numbers of Chinese teachers, especially the middle schools' Chinese superfine teachers have been making great contributions to the development of the Chinese teaching. These superfine teachers positively explore the new methods in the writings in classical style teaching and provide the precious experience for the middle schools' writings in classical style teaching, like Mr. Shen Heng Zhong who guides the students to form a sound foundation of reading the writings in classical style when he teaches the students. And he guides the students how to use them wisely. Mr. Qian Meng Long uses "self-reading style, teach to read style, read for once more style" to teach his students and train their thoughts. Mr. Li Yuan gong uses the reading teaching of intensive reading ability of writings in classical style. By learning the writings in classical style's teaching experience of those superfine Chinese teachers, we can get an important teaching idea: We must focus on the students' fundamental training when we carry on the writings in classical style teaching. And we should form the students' reading habits, exercise students thinking ability, and train the students' creative ability.In the fourth chapter, I make a rational ponder to the junior middle school writings in classical style teaching. "The Full-time Compulsory education language Curriculum Standard (Experimental Manuscript)" (hereafter refers to "Language Curriculum Standard") point out that the essential feature of the language curriculum is "the characteristics of implement and the characteristics of humanism", the language curriculum's basic idea is to comprehensively enhance the students' language accomplishment, the "language curriculum should train the students to deeply love the motherland, have the thoughts and feelings and instruct the students to correctly understand and utilize the mother language, to rich the language's accumulation, to form good language sense, and develop thinking ability." "Language Curriculum Standard" has also pointed out that the writings in classical style teaching's total goal is to be able to read easy classical style articles with the help of the reference books. The junior schools' writings in classical style teachings' goal is to be able to read easy writings in classical style, can understand the basic content of the articles with the help of the reference books and recite outstanding 80 proses. Under the "new curriculum standard junior schools' writings in classical style teaching must conform to the language curriculum essential feature and the basic idea, realize the writings in classical style teaching goals. We ought to realize the writings in classical style is four values including: knowing the ancient society, inheriting our ancient outstanding culture, carrying on moral education, improving reading and writing ability of modern Chinese. During our teaching course, we should realize the teaching goals through strengthening the reading aloud training, developing the students' sense to the ancient Chinese, training the students' ability of reading easy writings in classical style, promoting the students; comprehensive ability, improving the students' esthetic personal status and appreciating ability.In the fifth chapter, I introduce my own writings in classical style teaching practice. In more than10 years' writings in classical style teaching practice, I gradually realize that in writings in classical style teaching, we must insist on "reading aloud, understanding, realization, and connection" these four links. Reading aloud is the foundation of learning writings in classical style. Understanding is the goal. Realization is a higher request. And Connection is the exploration of learning. In the writings in classical style teaching practice, I myself use these four key links to teach the students. And in this chapter, I give four real cases and make simple analysis on the basis of my own teaching experience. In the writings in classical style teaching practice, I am aware of using the modern education technology to have my lessons. Through the modern education technology, I create the learning environment, provide the background material of the texts, and unfold directly the ancient civilization to promote the students' understanding of the texts.In the sixth chapter, I put forward several proposals to the junior schools' writings in classical style teaching. Through analysis the recent years' graduation texts of Su Zhou city. I found that in the writings in classical style test parts, the accumulation of famous prose phrases and the explanation of literary words according to the context and the ability to understand the basic content of the writings in classical style are focused on. So the writings in classical style teaching should train the students' test ability and strengthen reading aloud training, accumulate more literary words, understand the important literary style sentences and master the writings in classical style content. The writings in classical style teaching also needs to pay great attention to training the students' reading ability of the writings in classical style. During the teaching course, we should pay attention to the students' experience of reading the texts, instruct the students to grasp the whole meaning of the text, and connect the study with the understanding social life. The writings in classical style reading abilities' enhancement cannot go on without writings in classical style reading. At last, this chapter divides the writings in classical style reading into seven catalogues according to the text's content. And names related books for each catalogue.
