The Cross-culture Research On The Development And Influence Factors Of Future Orientation In The Mongolian And Han Adolescent

Human beings can not only think of the things which happened in the past and present, but also reflect on and plan what will happen afterwards, and this thinking and planning for the future is referred to the future orientation. In recent years, the future orientation become the hotspot of psychology research, The development of future orientation,influence factors and development mechanism had been researched by many researcher, and they have the same result.However, we have a beginning of the research in our country, and the researchers only are concerned with the eastern youth, the cross culture research of difference nations is scarceThis study suggests that the relationship between developmental conditions, cultural factors and future orientation among the adolescent in ethnic minority areas for the future orientation should be examined. Therefore, the author takes the adolescents of Mongolia and Han in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as the subjects. And the author deeply explores the differences on the future orientation among the adolescents of Mongolia and Han, and then discusses the relationships among the value, parenting styles, self-esteem and future orientation. Finally, the author makes a comparison on the differences of the future orientation' influences among the adolescents of Mongolia and Han.This study explores the influences through questionnaires, with young people the future orientation scale, value scale, parental rearing style questionnaire and self-esteem self-test questionnaire as a measurement tool,982 young people Han and Mongolia as subjects, of the demographic variables, values, parents Rearing style and self-esteem on the future orientation. The conclusions are as follows:(1) The Future Orientation Questionnaire is be suitable for young Mongolian Youth, Han and Mongolia youth have no difference at it. (2) The development of future orientation have an difference in Demographic, Han and Mongolia youth have an outstanding difference in The development of Mongolian Youth, Han and Mongolia youth have no difference at it. (2) The development of future orientation have an difference in Demographic, Han and Mongolia youth have an outstanding difference in The development of future orientation. (3) The development of value scale, parental rearing style questionnaire and self-esteem self-test questionnaire in Mongolia and Han adolescents have an outstanding difference. (4) The development of value scale, parental rearing style and self-esteem has an remarkable correlation with future orientation, they are three difficult influence factors of the future orientation,the influence factors of future orientation have an an outstanding difference between Han and Mongolia youth.
