Objective: To explore the best solution to Mixed hemorrhoids when bathe applying Nepeta prescription after surgery under the influence of two factors, the temperature and liquid concentration. Methods: 80 cases meeting the criteria were randomly divided into 4 groups with 20 cases per group. After the surgery, apply conventional treatment for 3 days, then began Nepeta prescription Bath, 10 minutes each time. Observe Group 1, using the herbs liquid extracting from water 3000ml until the liquid temperature dropped to 42℃,begin bathing; observe Group 2 with the same concentration as Group 1, the initial temperature bath set at 37℃; Observe Group 3 using the herbs liquid extracting from water 3500ml until the liquid temperature dropped to 42℃, begin bathing; observe group 4 with the same concentration as Group 3, the initial temperature bath set at 37℃. 7 days for a course of treatment was observed in patients with anal pain after Bath, the surgical edema, granulation, subjective experience, length of stay, etc., and treatment of 3d, 5d, 7d the time of evaluation. Result: The clinical observation has shown that improving the anal pain: the use of drugs 3d, 5d, observed Group 1 and the other 3 groups were significantly different (P<0.05); in preventing the elimination of edema: the drug of 3d, 5d, 7d observed Group 1 and the other 3 groups were significantly different (P<0.05); in promoting the growth of granulation tissue: the drug 5d, 7d, observed Group1 and the other 3 groups were significantly different (P<0.05 ); the subjective feelings, the drug of 3d, 5d, 7d, group1 compared with group 2 and group4 was significantly different (P<0.05), Group 1 and group 3 had no significant differences (P>0.05); the hospital stay, the four groups showed no significant difference (P> 0.05).Conclusion : The clinical efficacy of Nepeta prescription applied to the mixed hemorrhoid surgery have something to do with the two factors: bath temperature and the concentration of the herbs liquid. After the surgery having a bath with herbs liquid extracted from water 3000ml, the initial temperature 42℃is more reasonable to effectively reduce postoperative pain, prevent the elimination of edema, promoting granulation and improve patient comfort.
