Objective:To observe the clove wei ling mixture in the stomach with chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) of prostaglandin E2 content in rats as well as Bcl-2 protein expression, and to explore its mechanism.Methods:60 healthy adult Wistar rats of clean grade were randomly divided into 5 groups:normal control group, model group, clove wei ling mixture in small doses the stomach, the stomach clove wei ling mixture in middle dose group, clove wei ling mixture in the stomach the high dose group. In addition to the normal control group, the CAG made the other rat model:2% sodium salicylate 10ml/kg administered by rats and drinking of 0.05% ammonia free months. CAG rat model of production is successful, the model rats are killed by gastric juice and PH value of sacrificing blood and stomach samples under test. In addition to the normal control group, the other group received gastric clove mixture in large, medium and low dose administered, all were killed after 6 weeks,Determination of PH value and the same juice sacrificing blood and stomach samples. Detection of rat prostaglandin E2 levels and by immunohistochemical staining on gastric tissue expression of Bcl-2 protein.Results:The model group and normal control group, a significant increase in gastric PH value (P<0.01), Prostaglandin E2 levels were significantly lower (P<0.01), Bcl-2 expression index was significantly higher (P<0.01). Mixture in the treatment of gastric cloves all compared with the model group were significantly lower PH value (P<0.01), prostaglandin E2 levels were significantly higher (P<0.01), Bcl-2 expression index was significantly lower. Indicators between treatment groups were significantly different (P<0.01 or P<0.05).
