Clinical Observation Of Variation Of Chaihujialonggumuli Decoction On Treating Childhood Multiple Tic Discorder (Multiple Tics, MT)

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of chaihujialonggumuli decoction in the treatment of Multiple Tics(MT),the basis of exploring the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine,this research show its' clinical value to treat Multiple Tics.Method:Based on randomly,comparative designs,we collected sixty-two clinical children with Multiple Tics,two cases fall off,then divided into two groups:the treatment group and the antithesis group.Treatment group was taken by chaihujialonggumuli decoction,and antithesis group was taken by tiapride hydrochloride tablet,the therapeutic time for both groups was 8 weeks.By recording Yale Globle Tic Severity Scale(YGTSS) standard score,we evaluated the clinical effect of two groups by observing the decrease situation before and after treatment.Result:chaihujialonggumuli decoction improve the motor and vocal tics obviously,more effective than the antithesis group.In the treatment group,there was 8 complete recovery,13 effectual cases,4 effective cases,5 ineffective cases,and the total effective rate is 83.33%.For the antithesis group,there was 6 complete recovery,12 effectual cases,3 effective cases,9 ineffective cases,and the total effective rate is 70.00%.There is no statistical significance between two groups(p=0.657>0.05).Two groups have made some improvement after treated 8 weeks,but the chaihujialonggumuli group was obviously better than the tiapride group.Circumstance of side effects:In the course of treatment,there was only one child felt abdominal uncomfortable,increased frequency of stool phenomenon in the treatment group the symptoms disappeared after adjusted some drugs.For the antithesis group,three cases felt nauseated and abdominal uncomfortable,three cases appeared sleepiness,lethargy and lack of concentration,after adjusted some drugs,the symptoms disappeared.Conclusion:Through this clinical design,in the treatment of Multiple Tics,Chinese medicine(chaihujialonggumuli decoction) combined with Tiapride is a well-proven method in controlling symptoms of Multiple Tics.Traditional Chinese method of shuganjieyu,pingganxifeng and shujinhuoluo to treat MT is effective.
