Clinical Observation Of Modified Huangan Lipi Decoction In Treatment Of Spleen Deficiency And Liver Hyperactivity Type In Children With Tic Disorder

Obj ective:By comparing the improvement of the YGTSS scale scores and TCM syndrome scores of modfied Huangan Lipi Decoction and Changma Xifeng Tablets for tic disorder(spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity),the clinical efficacy and credibility of the decoction were discussed.Methods:A total of 62 patients who attended the pediatric Clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2019 to January 2021 and met the inclusion criteria,and they were randomly divided into a treatment group(modfied Huangan Lipi Decoction)and a control group(Changma Xifeng Tablets),31 cases in each group.Eight weeks was a course of treatment,with a follow-up visit every two weeks.The scores of YGTSS scale and TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment were statistically analyzed with SPSS26.0 statistical software,and the safety of the whole process would also be evaluated.Results:1.Sixty-two patients were enrolled,and 2 cases fell off during the treatment.Finally,the whole process was completed with 30 cases in the treatment group and 30 cases in the control group.2.Overall curative effect evaluation:the total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.67%,and that of the control group was 73.3 3%.The comparison between the groups(P=0.044<0.05),the difference was statistically significant,and the treatment group had better effect.3.Four analyses of YGTSS scores:①Both treatments could effectively ameliorate motor tics after treatment(P<0.05),the comparison between groups(P=0.007<0.05),the treatment group was better;②Vocal tics improved after treatment in both groups(P<0.05).In a short period of time,The effect of improving vocal tics in the treatment group was equivalent to that in the control group,the comparison between the groups(P>0.05);③After treatment,the scores of social deficits in the two groups decreased,but the comparison between the groups(P>0.05),and there was no significant advantage in the modfied Huangan Lipi Decoction in short term;④The total score of YGTSS in the two groups decreased(P<0.05),and the comparison between the groups(P=0.03<0.05),indicating that the effect of the treatment group was better than the control group.4.Five comparisons of TCM syndrome scores:① The total scores of the main symptoms of each group were reduced after treatment,and the treatment group was better in comparison(P=0.019<0.05);②Both groups were effective for motor tics and vocal tics,and the treatment group was more dominant(P<0.05);③After treatment,the total scores of the sub-symptoms of the two groups decreased,and the effect of the treatment group between the groups was obvious(P=0.008<0.05);④Detailed comparison of the scores of the 5 sub-symptoms:after treatment in each group,the three symptoms of irritability,anorexia,and restlessness at night were all improved(P<0.05).The comparison between groups(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better.However,for the two symptoms of sallow complexion and excrement and urination disorders,the two groups had similar efficacy(P>0.05).⑤ The total scores of TCM syndromes in each group decreased,and the treatment group was better in comparison(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Modfied Huangan Lipi Decoction in the treatment of tic disorder(spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity type)is clinically effective.2.Modfied Huangan Lipi Decoction can improve the motor tics and vocal tics in children with tic disorder(spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity type),reduce the damage of social function,and decrease the total score of YGTSS.3.Modfied Huangan Lipi Decoction can relieve manic depression of children with tic disorder(spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity type),and improve their appetite,sleep,complexion,bladder and bowel function.
