Objective:To study the effect of Changpu Yujin Tang on food intake,body weight,locomotor activity and the content of monoamine neurotransmitters in brain of MTmice model.To explore the effect and possible mechanism of Changpu Yujin Tang inthe treatment of MT.Methods:The120mice were randomly divided into12blank group and108con-trol group.The control group mice for7consecutive days after intraperitoneal inject-tion of IDPN,screening successful model in mice60and12normal mice,divided intomodel group,tiapride group,high dose of Chinese medicine group,middle dose ofChinese medicine group,low dose of Chinese medicine group and blank group.At the22th day and36th day,respecttively compared the change of mice on food intake,bodyweight,locomotor activity and the content of DA,5-HT,NE in brain.Results:(1)Compared with the blank group,the model group of food intake and bodyweight decreased in different degree,the locomotor activity and the content ofDA,5-HT,NE increased significantly.(2)At the36th day,the high dose group and middle dose group were significantlyincreased than the model group on food intake.(3)At the15th day,the model group was signifycantly lower than the blank groupon body weight;at the22th day,the model group, high dose group,middle dosegroup,low dose group and tiapride group were signifycantly lower than the blankgroup on body weight.(4)At the8th day,the model group,tiapride group,high dose group,middle dosegroup and low dose group were significantly higher than the blank group onlocomotor activity;at the22th day and36th day,the model group,tiapride group,highdose group,middle dose group and low dose group were significantly higher than theblank group on locomotor activity,high dose group,middle dose group and tiapridegroup were significantly lower than the model group on locomotor activity.(5)At the22th day and36th day,the content of DA,5-HT,NE of the high dose group,middle dose group and tiapride group were significantly lower than the modelgroup,the content of DA,NE of the middle dose group was significantly higher thanthe high dose group. At the22th day,the content of DA,NE of the high dose group andmiddle dose group were significantly higher than the tiapride group.At the36thday,the content of DA,5-HT,NE of the high dose group was significantly lower thanthe tiapride group.Compared between groups,at the36th day,the content of DA of thetiapride group was significantly higher, the content of NE of the model group,highdose group,middle dose group were signifycantly lower,the content of DA of the highdose group was significantly lower.Conclusions:(1)Changpu Yujin Tang can improve the effect of IDPN on mice by intra-peritoneal injection of food intake,body weight and locomotor activity.Its function isequivalent to tiapride.(2)Changpu Yujin Tang can reduce the content in brain tissue of mice withDA,5-HT,NE.The short-term effect is weaker than or equivalent to tiapride and long-term effect is better than tiapride.(3)There is a dose-response relationship of Changpu Yujin Tang on modelmice.On the whole,dose effect is better than that in high dose and middle dose isbetter than low dose.(4)Changpu Yujin Tang may be related to antagonize dopamine receptors andserotonin receptors,restrain of DA,5-HT abnormal release,reduce the excessivedominance of presynaptic dopamine neurons and serotonin neurons,contral the centralcontent of NE,reduce the NE function hyperfunction.
