Clinical Observation On Cases Of Acne Vulgar Treated With Self-blood Acupoint-injection Therapy

Acne vulgaris is a common chronic inflammation of sebaceous gland of hair follicle,which are also called as comedo,whelk or rosasea,etc.It is generally distributed in the face,back and thorax area which are abundant in sebaceous glands.The skin lesions of comedo include closed comedo,open comedo,papula,pustula,pus,nodule and cyst.The skin lesions can affect the patient's appearances,and often leads to psychological disorder.Purpose:The article was to observe the effect of self-blood acupoint-injection therapy on acne.Methods:We selected 61 cases of acne vulgaris from Acupuncture out-patient clinic and Dermatology out-patient in The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.These cases were divided into two groups randomly.30 cases were treated with self-blood acupoint-injection therapy,while the 31cases,which was the control group, were treated with drinking traditional Chinese drug(PI Pa Qing fei decoction).Observed the clinical efficacy of two groups and established database for statistical analysis using SPSS13.0.Results:The total effective rate is 83.33%in the therapeutic group,while the control group is 74.2%.There is no statistic significant variation (P＞0.05) in curative effect between the therapeutic group and the control group after analyzing basic data of each group.After all,compared with pre-treatment,both symptom scores had decreased obviously.(P＜0.05)Conclusion:Both self-blood acupoint-injection therapy and drinking PI Pa Qing fei decoction have certain curative effects on treating acne vulgaris. However,self-blood acupoint-injection therapy has so many advantages.For instance,it takes acupuncture point fewer but Better.Even more,it is effective and reliable,safe and easy to operate.Besides,the time of operation is short.In a word,self-blood acupoint-injection therapy is suitable for modern high-paced lifestyle.
