The study briefly described the characteristics of the military health service in High-tech war and discussed the influences of High-Tech war on military preventive medicine personnel. It emphasized that military preventive medicine personnel should be trained at the following aspects, including hygiene and epidemic prevention, care of casualty caused by directed energy weapons, care of casualty caused by high technology conventional weapons, medical protection against NBC weapons, care of military working, military medical psychology, organization and command of health service in wartime, medical and nursing care skill, medical literate humanities, human engineering, military nutrition, human engineering, and basic military skills. Through literature and present investigation, the training statuses of foreign military preventive medicine were compared with those of PLA, the chief disadvantages in our education and training of military preventive medicine were analyzed and the countermeasures were suggested through the expertise, theoretical discussions and statistic analysis. The countermeasures included 11 task demands, 58 competence demands and some special skill demands for the training of military preventive medicine, the suitable training system for different stages and levels and the distance education system for lifelong education.
