Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Eczema Of Infant And Young Children Treated By

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical therapeutic efficacy including the subjective symptom (itch degree) and signs (degree and sizes of Eczema Tetter) and safety of Ling Yu Shi Zhen liniment topical treatment (treatment group) on Infantile Eczema Tetter who belonging to Shi Re Jin Yin Zheng, and to compar the clinical therapeutic efficacy and safety with Bing Huang Fu Le Ruan Gao topical treatment (control group) on infantile eczema tetter. By comparing and analyzing the clinical curative effect and the two groups after six days of therapy, such as the improvement of target lesion and itching, to evaluate the superior effect of two groups.MethodsTaking the outpatients from department of pediatrics of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences Wang Jing hospital who suffering from acute eczema which accord with the diagnostic criteria on eczema from the 《Clinical Dermatology》(3rd edition) whose chief editor is Zhao Bian,as well as the diagnostic criteria about wet sores belonging to Shi Re Jin Yin Zheng that from the 《Disease of TCM syndrome diagnosis curative standard》(1995) into this research.The research participants who are meeting the requirements are assigned to control group and treatment group at random. The control group is treated with external use of Bing Huang Fu Le Ruan Gao, while the treatment group uses Chinese medicine Ling Yu Shi Zhen liniment topical treatment. Both groups are applied evenly to the affected area for6days. General conditions of both groups before treatment are collected and comparisions are made too. We collect respectively the target erythra and itch degree of both groups before and after the treatment,then make analasis and evaluation for the curative effectResults1To compare the improvement of target erythra of both groups befor and after treatment.The results show that both medicine are significantly effective on the drug treatment of Infantile Eczema Tetter.The total effective rate of the treatment group after6days’treatment was96.3%,while the percentage of the control group was76.2%(P=0.046<0.05,two groups of curative effect remained statistically significant difference). The data shows that the curative effect of treatment group is better than control group on degrees and sizes of eczema tetter.2To compare the improvement of itch degree of both groups befor and after treatment.The results show that both medicine are significantly effective on the drug treatment of Infantile Eczema Tetter.The total effective rate of the treatment group after6days’treatment was96.3%,while the percentage of the control group was90.5%(P=0.056>0.05,two groups of curative effect remained no significant difference). The data can not show that the curative effect of treatment group is better than control group on degrees and sizes of eczema tetter.3The each of the two groups was compared with itself before treatment and after6days,according to the scores of symptoms and therapeutic index of target lesion degree and sizes,and it showed there exited statistically significant difference (P<0.05).It shows that the two groups all have good curative effect on Infantile Eczema Tetter both of subjective symptom and signs.Compared with the therapeutic index of target lesion degree and sizes of the two group after6days.there existed statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). It shows that clinical curative effect on Infantile Eczema Tetter of Ling Yu Shi Zhen liniment topical treatment group is better than control group.Conclusion1Ling Yu Shi Zhen liniment topical treatment for Infantile Eczema Tetter has good clinical curative effect.2Ling Yu Shi Zhen liniment topical treatment can obviously alleviate the subjective symptom (itch degree) and signs (degree and sizes of eczema tetter) of Infantile Eczema Tetter.3It didn’t show obvious adverse reactions, which is a safe and effective prescription on treating Infantile Eczema Tetter with Ling Yu Shi Zhen liniment topical treatment.
