Power plant maintenance projects are complicated systematic projects. With the development of maintenance management level, the equipment can be put into effective production with higher speed, precision, safety and economy, so that power enterprises enable to obtain additional economic benefits. Based on project management, overlooking the major and minor repairs in power enterprise, this paper proposes to research from two aspects, multi-objective optimization and project schedule management. Based on the theory analysis of multi-objective optimization, this paper establishes a duration-cost-quality multi-objective optimization model of power plant maintenance project, introduces NSGA-II genetic algorithm to resolve the model, and applies it in a specific case. In addition, on the basis of theory analysis of project schedule management, the paper introduces critical chain method, sets up corresponding schedule management model of power plant maintenance projects and verifies it by a specific case.
